Motorola Promises Unlocked Bootloader Later This Year

Last week, Android users took to the web and asked for demanded an unlocked bootoader for Motorola devices. Now we're getting reports that Motorola has actually listened to their users' demands.

Motorola's official response was emailed to Irwin Proud, from Melbourne, Australia, who has been bombarding the company with demands for a bootloader. After 3 emails, 1 snail mail letter and an online petition that garnered 8,500 signatures, he finally received this message from Motorola corporate:
